Marketing Coordinator
DescriptionThe Marketing Coordinator position is responsible for managing the day-to-day operations of the department and collaborates with other departments on marketing efforts.
Job Characteristics Assist Vice President of Sales & Marketing in developing, coordinating and supporting the corporate marketing, social media and brand strategies Develop, maintain, edit and optimize marketing materials such as direct mail, email and communication campaigns, marketing trade shows and events, public relations, customer communications, media advertisements, promotions and other plans Implement project management system to document, coordinate and maintain marketing activities and projects Set up tracking systems for marketing campaigns and online activities including customer survey distribution Supervise social media outreach Deliver content and provide monthly updates to company website Produce quarterly newsletter and distributing it to targeted email marketing list Assist in writing, tracking and delivery of press releases, white papers, media relations content, executive bios, social media content and customer correspondence Develop standardized presentations, sales scripts and proposals Assist with production of artwork, sourcing images, print buying and checking copy Attend tradeshows, company sponsored promotions and events Manage existing video content and assist with developing new content Assist in managing and organizing corporate branded items and apparel Work with VP of Sales & Marketing to manage expenses to marketing budget Assist with implementation and management of new product launch process Assist with integrating corporate race program into marketing, social media and brand strategy Complete other duties and marketing communications (such as flyers and brochures) as assigned Required Skills Computer proficiency with Microsoft Office (principally Excel, PowerPoint, Word and Outlook), Dreamweaver, Adobe, Photoshop, Illustrator and Quark Able to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines Effective understanding of latest technologies and media with regards to marketing applications Sound understanding of marketing principles and effective project management skills Good team player and able to work well with other functional departments Be self-motivated, confident, energetic and creative Excellent attention to detail and well organized Work collaboratively and efficaciously as a team member Excellent written and verbal English communication skills Adherence to attendance policy Required Education/Experience Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field.
1-3 years relevant work experience.
